Lynette Herbst

Lynette Herbst is a Senior Social Scientist at SRK Consulting, focusing on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives since August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Social and Stakeholder Engagement Consultant at Zutari and as a Senior Consultant in the Communication and Stakeholder Engagement unit at Aurecon, where involvement centered on stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, community development, and resettlement action plans in various sectors. Lynette also held roles as an Environmental Officer at WBHO Infrastructure and a Research Officer at the University of Pretoria. Lynette's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Management, a Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Analysis and Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, all from the University of Pretoria, complemented by certifications in public participation and a Micro-MBA in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. Lynette is a registered professional environmental scientist with SACNASP.
