Ron Uken

Ron Uken is a seasoned geology consultant with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at SRK Consulting since March 2015, Ron previously operated as an independent consultant and held roles at Coffey Mining and Newmont Mining Corporation. Ron's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Metamorphic Geology and an Honours degree in Geology, both obtained from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. From January 1995 to March 2013, Ron was a Professor of Economic Geology at the same institution, contributing significantly to academia alongside practical consultancy roles.
