Stephen Taylor is a seasoned Principal Mining Engineer at SRK Consulting, with extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to produce NI 43-101 compliant studies and technical reports since June 2010. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of Senior Engineer - Projects at Vale Inco Ltd, overseeing project delivery for projects valued up to $50M. Stephen's career includes significant responsibilities at Placer Dome Inc, evolving from Senior Engineer to Chief Engineer duties at the Hoyle Pond Mine, where management of a 14-person engineering department and oversight of mine planning were key responsibilities. Early roles at Placer Dome and Royal Oak Mines involved various engineering and mining positions, providing a strong foundation in mining operations. Stephen holds a Masters of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University.
