Rieks Jager

Rieks Jager is a retired senior engineering project manager with extensive experience in international satellite and ground-based astronomical instruments. They held various leadership roles, including serving as the ALMA Interim Head of the Department of Engineering and managing significant projects like the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array. Rieks has a Master of Science in Instrumental Astronomy from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrotechnics from HTS Den Bosch. They have worked with numerous organizations, most notably SRON, where they held various positions over several years. Rieks is currently retired and focusing on personal projects.
