Susan Weaver

Susan Weaver is a skilled communications professional with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Communications Officer at SRUC since July 2025, Susan previously held the same title at the Scottish SPCA from November 2022 to July 2025. Prior to that, Susan worked as a Communications Associate at Heriot-Watt University from June 2019 to October 2022, and as a Media Officer for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service from April 2013 to June 2019. Earlier career roles include Communications Adviser at Fife Fire and Rescue Service from October 2005 to March 2013, and Press Assistant at The University of Dundee from 2003 to October 2005. Susan holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Dundee and Angus College, earned between 1995 and 1999.
