Marcus Lopez

Marcus Lopez has extensive experience in the technology and systems sector. Marcus currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Technology and Systems at SSA Group, starting in 2022. Before this, they worked at Universal Parks & Resorts from 2018 to 2022, where they held the roles of Senior Director of Information Technology and Senior Director of Digital & Experience Development. Prior to that, Marcus worked at Universal Orlando Resort from 2017 to 2018 as the Senior Director of Product Planning & System Integration. Marcus also has experience working at Walt Disney World from 2016 to 2017 as a Technical Director of Solution Engineering and at Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc. from 2011 to 2016 in various leadership roles such as Director of Solution Architecture, Director of Customer Experience, Director of Product, Manager of Product Solutions, and Program Manager. Marcus'searliest work experience was at Universal Orlando Resort in 2001 as a Senior Manager of IT - Delivery Services, and at Walt Disney World from 1999 to 2001 as a Communications Center Specialist.

Marcus Lopez attended Full Sail University from 1998 to 1999, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Film & Video Production. From 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology at the University of Phoenix.
