Alan Woods

Alan Woods is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Managing Director and Country Manager for SSAB Finance Ireland since November 2018, Woods oversees the group’s internal bank and back office for the leading Nordic steel producer. Prior to this role, Woods was a Residential Delivery Manager at the National Treasury Management Agency, managing a portfolio of debtors and assets, and also held positions as a Financial Consultant at Green Property Limited and Director of Finance & Global Operations for Noble Group's Carbon Credits division. A former Finance Director at Fidelity Investments, Woods managed finance functions across multiple software development organizations and led financial reporting for a mutual fund division. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Audit Supervisor at PwC. Woods holds a FCA designation from Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Commerce degree from University College Dublin.
