Anssi Torvela has over 15 years of experience in quality management and process development within the steel industry. Currently serving as Manager of Dispatch & Quality at SSAB since January 2013, Anssi leads process development initiatives, oversees investment projects, and manages ISO 9001:2015 updates. Prior experience at RUUKKI includes roles as QMS Manager, Development Manager, Operational Manager, and Development Engineer, where Anssi implemented ISO TS 16949 standards, enhanced overall equipment effectiveness, and improved operational processes across various facilities in Finland and Poland. Anssi holds an Engineer's degree in Environmental Science from Häme Polytechnic, earned from 1994 to 1998.
