Christian Söderström

Christian Söderström is the Director of Accounting & Internal Control at SSAB, a position held since February 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing accounting, reporting, and internal control for Division Special Steels, managing over 75 subsidiaries and ensuring compliance in technical accounting matters. Previous roles at SSAB involved serving as Senior Financial Controller and Internal Control Manager, focusing on the implementation of a comprehensive internal control framework and collaboration with management on governance and risk-related areas. Prior to SSAB, Christian Söderström worked at EY as Assurance Manager, leading audits for large multinational corporations and providing expertise in complex accounting issues across various industries. Christian Söderström holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Linköping University, complemented by education at The University of New Mexico.
