Gabor Mate Oly

Gabor Mate OLY is an accomplished risk manager at SSAB since August 2018, with prior roles including senior treasury analyst. Gabor has served as a brand ambassador for VS Athletics since February 2017. As a coach, motivational speaker, and mentor for the Bay Area Throwers Track Club since October 2008, Gabor focuses on coaching throwing events and inspiring individuals. Gabor's experience in banking includes positions at United Bank of Southwest Alabama & Northwest Florida from April 2013 to August 2018, specializing as a community bank business lender, SBA coordinator, and commercial lender trainee. Gabor has also demonstrated competitive excellence as an Olympian, participating in three Olympic Games: Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and Beijing 2008. Gabor holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Auburn University and attended the Alabama Banking School.
