Mark Bloomer

Mark Bloomer is an experienced professional in the steel industry, currently serving as Director and Head of Training at SSAB Academy since April 2010, where responsibilities include designing and implementing training strategies following significant M&A activity. Previously, Mark held the position of Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa, overseeing sales strategies for the region, and served as an ASM and Global Account Manager at SSAB UK, focusing on sales, turnover, and profitability. Prior to joining SSAB, Mark worked at SSAB South Africa as an ASM, and started a career in sales at ThyssenKrupp from 1986 to 1991. Mark holds education credentials from the University of Pretoria and Menzies High School.
