Mark Druien

Mark Druien has extensive experience in the steel manufacturing industry, having worked at SSAB since January 2007, where the current role is Manager Plant Systems, overseeing operations, repairs, and compliance of vital systems including Plant Water, Fire Systems, Bag Houses, and HVAC. Prior to this position, Mark served as a Cranes Mechanical Planner at SSAB, ensuring the operational efficiency of plant overhead cranes, managing personnel assignments, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory. Before joining SSAB, Mark gained valuable experience at SSAB Iowa Inc. from April 2001 to January 2007 performing typical millwright functions related to the steel-making process and previously worked as a Journeyman Millwright at Northwestern Steel & Wire from February 1988 to April 2001, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in a similar capacity.
