Sofia Ljungstrand

Sofia Ljungstrand is an experienced Legal Counsel currently working at SSAB since August 2019, where responsibilities include serving as an Ethics & Compliance Council representative, overseeing Trade Compliance and Export Control governance, and providing legal guidance on the fossil-free transformation project. Sofia has a background that includes positions as a Consultant in M&A Tax at Svalner and an Associate in M&A Tax at KPMG Sverige. Additional experience encompasses summer legal trainee roles at AstraZeneca, Sony Mobile Communications, and APSIS International AB, as well as a student position at Advokatfirman Vinge KB and providing legal advice at Juristjouren Lund. Sofia holds a law degree from Lund University and has also studied at the University of Bern.
