Sofie Nilsson

Sofie Nilsson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and strategic roles within the steel industry. Currently serving as the Project Management Office Manager at SSAB since April 2019, Sofie coordinates key transformation workstreams in Luleå, ensuring alignment across teams and reporting to the Executive Steering Committee. Prior roles at SSAB include Supply Chain Manager, Head of Centralized Maintenance, and Strategy & Business Development Manager. Sofie also holds a position as Deputy Board Member at Lulekraft AB, alongside previous experience as a Strategy Consultant and Analyst at Accenture, as well as internships at EY and as a Teaching Assistant at Linköping University. Sofie earned a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University and has pursued additional education at Nanyang Technological University Singapore and Furuhedsskolan, Kalix.
