Hugh Toler

Hugh Toler is the National President of the Coldstream Guards Association, a role held since 2019, where they coordinate activities for Coldstream veterans and support their transition to civilian life. Previously, Hugh served as a SO1 Joint Capability at the UK Ministry of Defence from 2005 to 2008 and held various significant positions within NATO, including Chief Crisis Plans Branch at HQ Allied Forces Southern Europe and Force Generator at SHAPE. Additional experience includes working as a Pre Sales Consultant at Allocate Software and as Account Director Defence at Dynama Solutions Ltd. Hugh was awarded an MBE for operations with HQ ARRC in Bosnia in 1996 and was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Essex in 2019. They are also actively involved with SSAFA Essex as Chairman.
