Alex Hagmeyer

Alex Hagmeyer currently serves as Co-Chief Investment Officer and Senior Director of Quantitative Research at SS&C Technologies, a position held since May 2020. Prior to this role, Alex worked at Franklin Templeton Investments for over seven years, where responsibilities included VP of Quantitative Equity Research and VP of Global Trading within the Investment Quantitative Research Group. Key achievements at Franklin Templeton involved launching quantitative analytics, developing factor models and monitoring tools, and trading across various sectors. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Quantitative Analyst at Quantitative Services Group, managing transaction cost analysis. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology from Miami University, earned in 2007.
