Derek Johnson

Derek Johnson is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in valuations and fund accounting. Currently serving as Director of Valuations at SS&C Technologies since November 2014, Derek manages the global valuation process and provides strategic direction to clients in various investment products. Previously, Derek held the position of Vice President of US Valuations at Wells Fargo Global Fund Services, where management of the US Valuation team and implementation of risk monitoring tools were key responsibilities. With a career spanning over two decades, Derek has also worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Cargill, Manager of Fund Accounting at Deephaven Capital Management, and in various analytical roles at Arbitrade, Eagle Capital Management, Voyageur Asset Management, and Wells Fargo Investments. Derek holds an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and a BA in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
