Gene Chan

Gene Chan, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Hedge Fund Services at SS&C Technologies in Hong Kong, overseeing client relationships and fund operations while leading a team that delivers comprehensive solutions to hedge fund clients. With extensive experience spanning nearly two decades at The Citco Group Limited, Gene held various leadership roles including Executive Vice President of Fund Accounting Operations and Valuation/P&L, where responsibilities included managing over 200 staff and enhancing operations across the Asia region. Gene also co-founded Winescope Inc., a mobile app for selecting wines, and began a career in technology at Geoware Inc. after earning a B.Math in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Waterloo. Gene is an active CFA charterholder.
