Ilan Simon is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud development and risk analytics. Currently serving as Senior Director of Cloud Development at SS&C Technologies since December 2019, Ilan plays a key role in extending cloud initiatives following the acquisition of the Algorithmics brand from IBM. Prior to this, Ilan was Head of Architecture and Engineering at IBM’s Watson Financial Services, where leadership included building Financial Risk APIs within a SaaS framework. Ilan’s career began with foundational roles, including Co-Founder and Technology Innovator at Seesite, and spans positions such as Product Manager and Lead Software Architect at Algorithmics, Application Architect at United Mizrahi Bank, and Senior Developer at Mapa. An educator at heart, Ilan also served as a Tutor with the Israel Defense Forces, enhancing technical training and recognition for excellence in tutoring. Ilan holds a BSc in Geophysics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
