John Coyle is a Senior Electrical Engineer at SSE plc, where experience includes roles as Electrical Project Engineer and Graduate Engineer since September 2016. During the two-year Graduate Development Programme, accredited by both the IET and IMechE, John gained expertise in electrical design, construction, commissioning, and operational project environments within the Transmission business for Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks. Prior to this, John was a Power Academy Scholar at SSE plc, completing a summer placement in the Innovation team on Future Networks projects. John holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, obtained in 2016, and completed high school at Holyrood Secondary School in 2011.
