Mark Nimmo

Mark Nimmo is a seasoned professional in internal communications, currently serving as the Head of Group Internal Communications at SSE plc since November 2017. Previously, Mark held the position of Internal Communications Manager at British Gas from June 2013 to October 2017, where responsibilities included delivering strategic communications for the UK Customer Operations business unit and engaging audiences with updates on transformational changes. Mark also served as the Outsource Learning & Comms Manager at British Gas, supporting effective communication and learning initiatives with outsource partners. Mark holds a BA in Media & PR, Communication and Media Studies from Queen Margaret University, earned between 2004 and 2007.
