Mark Patterson

Mark Patterson has over 15 years of experience in safety, health, and environment management, currently serving as the Safety, Health and Environment Director at SSE plc since September 2008, after holding roles as Group Safety, Health and Environment Manager and Strategy Manager. Prior to this, Mark worked at bp for nearly nine years, initially as a Strategic Sourcing Manager from September 1999 to October 2004, and later as Planning Manager from September 2005 to September 2008. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The University of Manchester, earned between 1988 and 1991.
