Simon Gray

Simon Gray is an accomplished fleet management professional with extensive experience in leading operations within the fleet sector across various organizations. Currently serving as Head of Fleet Management at SSE plc since November 2017, Simon delivers comprehensive fleet and travel services for a fleet of 8,500 vehicles. Prior to this, Simon held several significant positions at Mitie from November 2011 to November 2017, including Head of Fleet Management, where responsibilities encompassed creating fleet strategies and managing compliance for a diverse fleet of 1,650 vehicles and 1,850 drivers. Simon's career also includes tenure at the UK Ministry of Defence from April 1997 to November 2011, where roles ranged from Technical Advisor and Planner to Operations Manager, managing a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles. Simon's educational background includes attendance at Lumley School, Skegness from 1980 to 1985.
