Simon Hall has extensive experience in finance and business partnering, currently serving as Head of Business Partnering - M&A and Head of Finance for Hydrogen & Low Carbon Development at SSE plc since July 2023. Previously, Simon held various senior finance roles at Aggreko from September 2014 to July 2023, including Senior Finance Business Partner for Europe FP&A and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for Northern Europe. Early career experiences include positions at EY, Credit Suisse, PwC, and Barclays. Simon is a Chartered Accountant, having completed training with ICAS between 2014 and 2017, and holds a Master of Arts in Economics and Accounting from The University of Edinburgh, obtained in 2014.
