John Boyd

John Boyd has extensive experience in construction design management and health and safety, currently serving as a CDM practitioner at SSE Renewables since February 2021. Prior roles include CDM Officer at North Lanarkshire Council, where John provided CDM advice and prepared design risk management registers, and as a CDM consultant for various construction enterprises with C-MIST. John's experience also encompasses senior roles at Turner & Townsend, where responsibilities included advising on health and safety for the Glasgow underground upgrade, and as Senior CDMC at Sweett Group, focusing on school projects in Dumfries and surrounding areas. Earlier career positions include a decade-long role at cdm scotland ltd, overseeing significant projects such as the Liverpool2 development, and management responsibilities at Railtrack. John Boyd completed education at Girvan Academy from 1970 to 1974.
