Malcolm Bauld

Malcolm Bauld is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy and electrical infrastructure. Currently serving as the Lead Package Engineer at SSE Renewables since April 2020, Bauld oversees the multidisciplinary delivery of electrical systems for a major offshore wind generation project. Prior roles include Chief Electrical Engineer at WSP, Group Head and Principal Electrical Engineer at Atkins, and various engineering positions at companies such as Scottish Power and Mott MacDonald, where Bauld managed key projects involving wind farms and electrical connections. An engineer since 1996, Bauld's expertise spans a wide range of electrical engineering disciplines, backed by a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Paisley College.
