Paul Walker

Paul Walker is an experienced engineering professional specializing in project management and commissioning within the energy sector. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Hydrogen Project Engineering at SSE Thermal since January 2024, Paul previously held various roles at SSE plc from January 2012 to January 2024, including Surface Capital Projects Manager, Commissioning Manager, and Lead C&I Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at Scottish and Southern Energy as a C&I Engineer from February 2008 to January 2012, and at International Power - Saltend CCGT as a C&I Technician from 2002 to 2008. Paul began a career in engineering with Drax Group, progressing from a C&I Technical Apprentice to C&I Craftsman between 1994 and 2001.
