Joel Kramer, PE, is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design for various sectors, including automotive, manufacturing, industrial, health care, and education. Currently serving as a Sr. Structural Engineer at SSOE Group since May 2006, Joel also acts as an internal QA/QC project auditor. In addition to engineering roles, Joel contributes to academia as an adjunct faculty member at Macomb Community College since January 2023. Prior experience includes a position as a structural engineer at Tucker Young Jackson Tull from December 1998 to May 2006, focusing on educational, athletic, and water/wastewater facilities, along with early positions as an intern at Sheppard Engineering and PEA. Joel holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
