John Turner

John Turner, PE, is a Master Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in electrical design and project management across various industries. Since March 1993, John has served at SSOE Group, where responsibilities include client contact and project planning for large industrial facilities, particularly in the automotive sector. Previously, John managed an industrial electrical design group at Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc., and played a pivotal role in establishing the electrical engineering department as a senior electrical designer. Additional roles include executive vice president at Ted Wynne and Associates, project manager and senior electrical designer at Smith Seckman Reid, and chief electrical designer at Walker & Associates Engineers & Constructors. John initiated a career in electrical design starting with Howard, Nielson, Lyne, Batey and O'Brien, where projects included schools and hospitals. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electric Power from Tennessee State University and has also attended UT Nashville and Belmont University.
