Lisa Hitchingham, PE, is an experienced Chemical Process Engineer currently serving as Chemical Process Engineer 5 at SSOE Group since August 2011. In this role, Lisa has coordinated the design of an air quality control system for a greenfield manufacturing site and conducted site walk-downs at a chemical processing plant to validate system model accuracy. Prior experience includes serving as Project Analyst at Resource Recycling Systems, where research focused on the economies of scale for anaerobic digestion of food waste, and as Project Engineer at NOVI Energy, where economic feasibility analyses for Combined Heat and Power systems and solar installations were performed. Additional roles include Chemical EIT at HDR, developing studies and reviewing systems in power plants, and an internship at the US Environmental Protection Agency, focusing on renewable fuels and greenhouse gas regulations. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
