Jolanda Ferguson is an experienced educator with a focus on English and Theory of Knowledge (TOK), currently teaching at Sturgis Charter Public School, an IB World School, since July 2013. Jolanda has served as an IB English Literature A Examiner since May 2018 and reads applications for The Summer Science Program for talented high school students in STEM. Additional roles include teaching English as a Second Language at Wolfeboro Camp School and previously at Colegio Bilingüe Richmond and Colegio Anglo Colombiano. Jolanda's extensive background also includes roles in curriculum development, teacher supervision at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and teaching positions in diverse settings, including the Peace Corps. Jolanda holds a B.A. from Colby College and an M.A. in Religion from Temple University, complemented by international study at the University of St Andrews.
