Ömer ILGIN

Ömer Ilgın is a Geology Superintendent with over ten years of experience in gold exploration and mining. Currently, they oversee exploration geology operations at SSR Mining Inc., having previously held multiple roles at TÜPRAG, including Senior Exploration Geologist. They possess expertise in diamond drilling, drill planning, GIS, and 3D geological modeling, among other skills. Ömer earned a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering and a Master's degree in Economic Geology from Dokuz Eylul University. They have contributed significantly to various geological projects and led teams in sustainable exploration practices.
