SSV Architects is an architecture and preservation firm that focuses on new construction with a traditional spirit, as well as the revitalization of contemporary and historic spaces. Our work ranges from such celebrated landmarks as 19th-century town halls and churches to MIT laboratories built after the turn of the second millennium. Acting as passionate and vocal advocates for the buildings we touch, we research and integrate cultural and historical factors into our work. Such considerations enrich our projects, carrying relevance beyond aesthetics and functionality.

We believe that while spatial and physical relationships are essential dimensions of architecture, human relationships are more fundamental still. Each project we undertake is a shared journey with our clients, with whom we work diligently to establish common ground through lively, far-ranging conversations about our respective values and priorities.

With our guidance, clients create vibrant settings that not only link past and present, but also endure for generations.
