Carmen Scaffidi

Carmen Scaffidi is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Teacher of Science, Public Speaking, and Leadership at St. Augustine Prep since August 2020. Previously, Carmen had a distinguished career with the NJ State Police from April 1995 to January 2020, holding various leadership positions, including Troop A Integrity Officer, Station Commander of a narcotics and gang violence unit, and Internal Affairs Investigator, among others. Carmen's early experience includes roles as a Case Manager for the NJ DEP focused on environmental remediation and as a Substitute Teacher for the Hammonton Board of Education. Academically, Carmen holds a Master's degree in Police Administration from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Stockton State College, complemented by military training from the West Point Command and Leadership School.
