Steve Watson

Steve Watson is the current Director of Foundation at St. Camillus. Prior to this, they were the Development Officer for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin from September 2013 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for creating, executing and managing Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s Community Services fund development plan. This included identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding current and potential donors/partners, as well as overseeing and supporting Community Service Endowed Name Funds and the combined $3M Community Services yearly fundraising goal. Steve also supported and managed program funding relationships with senior leaders, community partners, and donors.

Before their time at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Steve Watson was the Executive Director at YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee from December 2011 to September 2013. In this role, they were responsible for leading all aspects of the YMCA’s operations in the Greater Milwaukee Area, including program development, membership growth, staff development, financial stability and community relations.

Steve Watson began their career in 1994 as the Director of Strategic Planning at The Salvation Army. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing long-range plans for The Salvation Army’s programs and services. Steve also oversaw the creation and implementation of annual operating plans and budgets, as well as evaluating program effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.

Steve Watson has a background in business administration and management from Ottawa University, as well as business and broadcasting from North Idaho College.
