Dr Lee

Dr Lee is the current President of Land Systems at ST Engineering. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director of the Institute for Infocomm Research at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research from July 2013 to March 2016. In this role, they led 700+ researchers in partnering with Singapore government agencies and industry to contribute to Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative. Dr also worked closely with Ministry of Trade and Industry, whole-of-A*STAR, EDB and National Research Foundation to direct R&D effort for RIE2020 plan (Research, Innovation and Enterprise) in the areas of urban solutions, advanced manufacturing and digital economy. The objective was to power a vibrant and strong infocomm ecosystem for Singapore.

Dr Lee has a Doctor of Philosophy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Science in Computer science from National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Dr also has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and is certified by IBM as an IBM Quantum Practitioner.
