Tony Quek

Distinguished Professor

Tony Quek is a distinguished academic and industry leader specializing in AI-RAN technologies. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at NeuroRAN since December 2024, Tony Quek also chairs the AI on RAN Working Group within the AI-RAN Alliance and holds the title of Fellow at the Wireless World Research Forum. At ST Engineering, Tony Quek is a Distinguished Professor, while also being a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering Singapore. As a full professor and Director of the Future Communications R&D Programme at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Tony Quek has made significant contributions to the field of information systems technology and design. Additional roles include founder of Silence Laboratories, Deputy Director of the SUTD-ZJU Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship Alliance, and previous chair of the IEEE VTS Committee on Deep Learning for Wireless Communications. Tony Quek's academic credentials include a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.Eng. from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, complemented by a recent Lee Kuan Yew Senior Fellowship in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore.
