Vincent Yap

Vincent Yap is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and operations within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Regional Director of Business Development at ST Electronics since February 2015, Vincent has focused on the integration of IoT, Smart City initiatives, cybersecurity, and public safety in Southeast Asia. Prior to this role, Vincent was the Sales and Operations Director at Wilmar International from September 2007 to January 2015, where responsibilities included managing IT outsourcing and security operations, as well as leading SAP ERP project implementations in the manufacturing sector. Vincent also held the position of Head of Sales at StarHub from August 1999 to July 2007, where initiatives included significantly increasing mobile subscriptions in collaboration with major partners. Vincent holds a degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from the National University of Singapore, earned between 1987 and 1990.
