Vrizlynn Thing

Vrizlynn Thing serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Cybersecurity Strategic Technology Centre at ST Engineering since October 2018. In conjunction with this role, Vrizlynn holds the position of Assistant Superintendent of Police at the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore, starting in January 2016. Previous academic engagements include Adjunct Associate Professor roles at the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University, as well as part-time teaching at Imperial College London during doctoral studies. Vrizlynn's extensive experience in cybersecurity was further solidified as Cluster Head of Cyber Security & Intelligence at the Institute for Infocomm Research from June 2000 to October 2018. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computing from Imperial College London, a Master of Engineering by Research in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and additional studies in strategic management at the National University of Singapore and leadership at INSEAD.
