William Bates is an experienced professional currently serving as an Elected Parish Councillor for the Billinge Chapel End Parish Council since May 2022. With a strong focus on Rugby League, William Bates has held prominent roles as a Statistician and Researcher for both the Rugby League Record Keepers Club and the Rugby League Project since 2020 and 2008, respectively, where historical UK Rugby League statistics are provided.
