St Ives is an exceptional prep school for boys and girls aged 2-11, set in 8 acres of beautiful parkland just a short drive from Haslemere High Street.

At St Ives, we believe education should be relevant, interesting, stimulating, engaging, and above all, fun! Learning can take place anywhere, in and out of the classroom, so we seize every opportunity to develop the children's love of learning. We have specialist subject teachers and small class sizes to ensure that our pupils can thrive in lessons. Our aim is for every child to leave St Ives at the end of the day feeling that today really was the best day ever.

We have an outstanding record of pupils achieving their first-choice entry of senior schools, with many scholarships awarded annually. In 2022, every child in Year 6 was accepted into the school of their choice, with 70% receiving scholarships to prestigious independent schools such as Guildford High School, Churcher's College, St Catherine's School, Frensham Heights and Prior’s Field School.

There is no real secret to our success – we know that the combination of small class sizes, dedicated staff and excellent pastoral care is key to giving our children the safe and stable environment they need to grow and flourish.  We place the wellbeing of our children at the heart of every decision we make and this has been recognised nationally at the Independent School of the Year Awards.
