Aaron Turner is an experienced Critical Care Paramedic and Intensive Care Paramedic at St John New Zealand since December 2011, serving as the cardiology and trauma lead for the South Island. Previously, Aaron worked as a Relief Paramedic in South Auckland and held the position of Station Manager at New Zealand Red Cross from January 2011 to January 2014. Aaron has been actively involved in various leadership roles, including serving on the National Youth Panel and National Board for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and chairing the Asia Pacific Youth Network Steering Committee. Educational qualifications include a Master of Philosophy from Auckland University of Technology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science, and a Bachelor of Health Science in Paramedic. Aaron also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Management from Massey University and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honors from the University of Otago.
