Darren Joyce

Darren Joyce is a Cloud Platform Architect at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, with a background in emergency medical services as an Ambulance Officer at St John New Zealand. Darren is also a First Aid Instructor at Land Search and Rescue New Zealand. Prior to their current roles, Darren worked as a Cloud DevOps Engineer at FMG, a Swiftwater & Flood Instructor at Rescue 3 New Zealand, a Technical Lead in monitoring and insights at Massey University, and in various technical roles at Computercare NZ Limited, Edtech, Massey University, and Freyberg High School. Darren holds a Diploma in Ambulatory Practice from St John New Zealand and has studied at UCOL and Rangitikei College.
