Peter Tranter

Peter Tranter is an experienced professional with a substantial background in ambulance operations and management within New Zealand's healthcare system. Currently serving as a member of the St John New Zealand Priory Chapter since June 2023, Peter previously held various significant roles at Hato Hone St John and St John Ambulance, including COVID 19 Recovery Manager and Senior Advisor Ambulance Operations. With extensive experience in strategic planning, operational management, and service development, Peter has contributed to enhancing emergency services and patient transfer operations at both local and national levels. Peter’s earlier roles encompassed managing operations for multiple ambulance services and overseeing substantial budgets, showcasing a strong commitment to improving healthcare delivery. Peter holds education from The University of Waikato and the National Ambulance Officers' Training School/ AUT.
