Simon Barnett

Simon Barnett currently serves as the Chair for the Association of Emergency Care Training Providers, a position held since October 2023. With extensive experience at St John New Zealand since February 2008, Simon has held multiple roles including Head of Public Training & Medical Products, Registered Paramedic, Head of Event Health Services, and Strategy Advisor, among others. Prior to his extensive tenure at St John, Simon worked as an Assistant Manager at Villa Magdala Hotel in 2007 and as a First Aid Tutor at St John from 2004 to 2007. Simon holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Auckland (2019), a Certificate in Tertiary Teaching from NZIM (2014), and a Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic) from Auckland University of Technology (2012).
