Eric Sim has extensive work experience in the logistics and technology field. Eric currently holds the role of Chief Technology Officer at ST Logistics, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Corporate Head of the Technology Office at the same company from January 2016 to March 2023. Before joining ST Logistics, Eric worked at DHL for several years in various roles. Eric was the Senior Director of Product Advisory & Supply Chain Systems Consultancy from October 2011 to December 2015, where they led the logistics tenders' solution design and consulting projects for the Life Science and Healthcare and Consumer Products sectors. Prior to that, they held positions as the Head of Supply Chain Systems Consultancy & Senior Supply Chain Consultant from July 2008 to October 2011, and as a Supply Chain Consultant from July 2006 to July 2008. In these roles, they were responsible for analyzing supply chain requirements, crafting supply chain solutions, and optimizing customers' supply chains. Eric also worked at Accenture as a Consultant from July 2000 to July 2004, where they managed and executed various consulting projects, including ERP implementation, supply chain feasibility studies, and website development projects for clients such as British American Tobacco, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, SilkAir, and Singapore Airlines.
Eric Sim obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Engineering, specifically in Civil Engineering, from the National University of Singapore from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Eric Sim also completed the Singapore Business Leaders Programme at the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) in June 2022.
