Alexandre Desse

Alexandre DESSE is currently an Ingénieur process métrologie at STMicroelectronics since March 2022, specializing in material characterization techniques such as resistivity measurements, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and X-ray fluorescence (XRF). Prior experience includes a role as Ingénieur Inspection at Dietsmann, where contributions were made to the development of inspection programs for pressure equipment at the Al Shaheen oil site in Qatar and the creation of an inspection strategy for flexible pipes in Mozambique. As an Ingénieur consultant at ALTEN, Alexandre participated in technical missions at Framatome, addressing technical issues at the Flamanville 3 site and overseeing compliance projects related to forged and cast nuclear materials. Earlier positions included internships at STMicroelectronics, Nexans, and Alstom Power, focusing on R&D, materials science, and experimental testing. Academic credentials include an engineering degree in Science and Engineering of Materials from Grenoble INP - Phelma, earned between 2014 and 2017, following preparatory studies at La Prépa des INP from 2012 to 2014.
