Denis Roman

Denis ROMAN has extensive experience in hardware engineering, particularly within the fields of RF memory and imaging technologies. Currently serving as an Application H/W Senior Staff Engineer in the RF Memory Team at STMicroelectronics since December 2012, Denis oversees the architecture, design, validation, and mass production of NFC/RFID memory discovery kits and R&D boards. Previous roles include Design H/W Senior Staff Engineer within the Imaging, Bi-CMOS ASIC, and Silicon Photonics Group, and Hardware Application Engineer at ST-Ericsson, focusing on mobile connectivity product integration. Denis's career began at EATON Corp. designing automotive sensor circuitry, followed by significant contributions at IBM and AMCC in high-throughput switch board design. Additionally, Denis has experience as a part-time educator at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, teaching courses related to noise and transmission lines. An alumnus of Polytech Montpellier, Denis has cultivated a well-rounded expertise in hardware design and application support throughout a career spanning over two decades.
