Dr. Sunil Kumar

Dr. Sunil Kumar is a seasoned professional in the field of VLSI and electronics, currently serving as a Technical Lead at STMicroelectronics since June 2020, focusing on Static Timing Analysis (STA) and synthesis responsibilities. Prior to this role, Dr. Kumar was a Senior Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from May 2018 to June 2020, where responsibilities included being the subsystem STA owner. Dr. Kumar completed a PhD in device design as a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Electronics and Communication, Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, between September 2013 and October 2018, with a focus on alternative device design methods aimed at compact circuit development. Earlier professional experience includes serving as an Assistant Manager at CPA Global with expertise in the VLSI domain, and positions as a Lecturer and Faculty Member in various educational institutions, along with a Master’s degree in Microelectronics and VLSI from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. An undergraduate degree in Electronics and Instrumentation was obtained from Galgotia's College of Engineering and Technology.
