Gerard Petit

Gerard Petit has extensive experience in quality management and operations within STMicroelectronics, having joined the company in 1994. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Quality in Operations since July 2008, Gerard Petit defines and measures quality programs and processes across the organization. Previously, as Head of the Quality department for Wafer Foundry Outsourcing, Gerard Petit managed quality for front-end subcontractors across Europe and Asia, overseeing critical processes like change management and audits. Earlier roles include Head of Process Control & Quality departments, where Gerard Petit focused on manufacturing robustness and automotive quality, and Manager for technology transfer from France to Singapore, coordinating key operations. Gerard Petit began their career as a process engineer and holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a DEA in Microelectronics from Grenoble INP - UGA.
